If you’re on the hunt for the best cappuccino in town, Java Roastery in Moseley Village is *the* place to go. This cafe nails the balance of a perfect cappuccino: rich, velvety foam with a smooth, bold espresso that packs a punch without any bitterness. You can tell they care about quality, as every cup feels like it's made with love and attention to detail. I had a cappuccino with oat milk- perfection! With a chocolate twist on the side I stayed for more than an hour and did some work on my laptop!

Visited this place after someone else's recommendation. I needed a nice quiet place to get some work done. I was here from 9am till 4pm. The staff was super nice and had no issues with me being there all day. I had some lovely breakfast and decent coffee too; although the speciality drinks were average so I'd stay away from them. The cortado was lovely and that's what I would get again.

Having being refurbished and extended recently, I was eager to see what the new JAVA Roastery looked like. First impressions were extremely favourable. Gone is the dowdy orangey/gold facade and environment and this has given way to a much larger, brighter, lighter, modern and impressive interior and exterior. There's even a new space downstairs and one upstairs, so essentially seating available on 3 floors. The decor, furniture and fitings are awe-inspiring, with high quality and bright materials used throughout. There's so much light flooding into the place and this helps make the shop more inviting. Both my wife and children had a great time in the ambient and relaxed surroundings. We all enjoyed our drinks especially my wife and daughter who emphatically claimed that their Espresso and Hot Chooclate where the most delicious and best they had tasted in Moseley. We'll definitley be visiting more frequently in the future as we live in the local vicinity and were were very impressed with the Baristas service, friendliness, welcome and of course the high quality of our beverages.

Java Lounge has my heart! Absolutely loved this place! Java Lounge is such a cool, sophisticated spot to chill, catch up with friends, or just vibe on your own. The atmosphere is this perfect mix of quirky and calming — from the stylish decor to the cozy seating, it just works. The staff were so lovely and welcoming — seriously, they made us smile from the moment we walked in. And the drinks? YUM. Everything we tried was delicious, and I’m already excited to go back and try more! If you’re looking for a place that feels both relaxed and a little fancy, this is it. Highly recommend!

One of only 2 places in Birmingham I’d give a 5 star rating to on coffee quality alone. Coffee is absolutely superb. Didn’t do a trial testing of the espresso but had sweeter options of a Spanish latte and a dalgona coffee and they were both faultless. Raspberry & Honeycomb Tiffin that accompanied my coffee was amazing. Service by the staff (every single member) was incredible and the ambience and decor of the place was a cherry on top. If it wasn’t out of the way for me to get to , I’ll be here a lot more often

Such a lovely cafe, the drinks are always amazing. I order a chai latte with a bakewell slice and both were really nice. It's always pretty busy and has a really nice atmosphere. The toilet facilities are really good too and kept clean.
